The Pan American Fiesta returns to Mayfair Park on May 7-10 with a new Thursday night of fun. Discounted carnival rides for just $1 will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7. Games and concessions will also be open on the new night.
The family-friendly celebration continues Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
An expanded lineup of food trucks will be featured this year including “Taco Obsession,” “Mister Coolee Ice Cream Truck” and “Kabob Express.” Community organizations are also hosting food booths with pizza, hamburgers, pastrami, meatball and turkey sandwiches, along with specialty snacks such as Kettle Corn and shaved ice. Food trucks and booths will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Free entertainment starts Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Mayfair High School youth bands and choral group. The fiesta’s opening ceremonies are scheduled for noon. Music and dance—including Latin Jazz, Country Western, Salsa, Top 40, Mariachi and a Polynesian Revue—will continue on the fiesta’s main stage throughout the weekend.
More than 50 arts and crafts dealers will be at the fiesta. In the Children’s Cultural Booth, kids can have a free, hands-on cultural experience featuring activities and arts and crafts from across the Americas. Organized activities will run from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The fiesta’s traditional pancake breakfast, sponsored by the Pan American Association, will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for $5.00.
On Sunday—Mother’s Day— breakfast and a gift is free for all moms, along with live entertainment and fun shopping at the fiesta’s craft booths.
